Jedward have been chosen as Christmas Ambassadors for ALONE Ireland, a campaign to ensure that no older person is alone this festive season, with a message of, ‘Share your presence this Christmas’ rather than traditional gift giving.

ALONE wants to encourage people to include everyone in the celebrations, and asks that we share our time with an older relative, neighbour or friend to share in the joy of Christmas.

John and Edward did a photo call at the Westin Hotel today, and said at the launch,

“We are so excited to help ALONE launch their Christmas campaign this year. We think that it’s a really important cause and that everyone should take some time to look out for older people in their community. We encourage everyone to spread the Christmas cheer by sharing your presence, which is the most important gift of all”.
