Twin Pop sensations Jedward made a surprise appearance on the BBC’s annual charity fundraising event children In Need.

After popping into the famous Eastenders Pub The Queen Vic, the twins then joined Ylvis on stage for a performance of his smash internet hit What Does the Fox Say?

John and Edward then took over the charities Twitter feed to encourage fans to donate.

By the end of the evening, a whopping £31,124,896 had been raised.

Well done to everyone who took part.

Earlier in the day it was announced that the generous pair were also supporting the charity Concern First, which helps feed starving children, John will be fasting for a day and Edward will be trying to live on one Euro.
